i can not get over how powerful this website is. just a rundown- hundreds of thousands of people send in anonymous postcards with their deepest, darkest secrets on them. then sometimes, other people respond. it has saved lives and brought on millions of smiles. can we really ask for more?

"requited or unrequited love". a series of short notes written to the ex-lovers of so many. too cute, too sad.. and very easy to relate. makes you want to write millions of them. like postsecret, its also a book! yay!

can be a bit strange. think outside the box. short comic-like strips of amazing photographs (by emily) and words (by joey).

you have no idea how hard it was to narrow this down to one photography blog. hooooly. but this man is my inspiration. check out his series on mary and leo- married 60 years. they are all beautiful. but this one is how the love for him started. this is my friends tumblr. she may completely hate me for posting this if she ever sees this (haha). but i love her writing, her photographs, her paintings- her vision of life. it continually shocks me and she doesn't perceive how she is to everyone else- amazing. favorite tumblr.

this is dianna agron (you've seen her on Glee, as Quinn- of Quinn and Finn). shocked me how similar and down-to-earth she was to the rest of the indie bloggers of the world. plus, she loves audrey hepburn. and alice in wonderland. and photography. soulmates?

this girl started the flickr love. and the photography/film love. she continues to be an inspiration. also, every time i look at her photographs i get one step closer to moving to italy or barcelona or wherever she lives just for that magnificent light. she captures things i could never dream of seeing or seeking out. she looks at the world in a whole other way. love!

i don't think enough can be said about this man. he literally started it all. he was the first photographer i've admired- next to my dad- and i think it was an instant love. i've shared his passion for Kodak Brownies (yup, own a few) and his outlook on scenery. cannot ever get enough of his work and if he was still with us today i would make it my life's goal to tell him in person how much he has inspired and influenced me- how he has changed the way i look at things and ultimately sparked my love for the camera. since this isn't possible, i do so by taking my own photos and hoping to be as much of an inspiration to other people some day. i hope they have blogs and facebook in heaven. and i hope he knows my website.
